BodaFestival ("we", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data in line with the Tanzania Personal Data Protection Act, 2022 and applicable international standards.
1. Data we collect
When you submit a form on this website, we collect: your name, email, phone number, organisation, and any message or details you provide. Riders may additionally provide National ID / licence number, region, stage and motorcycle make.
2. How we use it
- To respond to sponsorship, partnership, exhibitor and contact enquiries.
- To register riders for festival activities, helmet drives and health screenings.
- To send updates about the festival you have explicitly opted in to receive.
3. Sharing
We do not sell your data. We may share aggregate, non-identifying statistics with sponsors and partners. We share personal data with regulators (TRA, Traffic Police, NIDA) only where required by law or for verified rider-licensing services you opted into.
4. Retention
Enquiry data is retained for up to 24 months. Rider registration data is retained for the festival edition you registered for plus 12 months.
5. Your rights
You can request access, correction or deletion of your data at any time by emailing taxcapafrica@gmail.com.
6. Cookies
We use a single first-party cookie to remember your cookie banner preference and (if you accept all) anonymous analytics to measure aggregate traffic. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used.
